How to become certified?

Good news everyone! I will be getting a job this summer in Lincoln, NE hopefully as a computer repair person.

My question is, what are the best official websites can I earn (via tests) PC hardware certification? And Microsoft Windows certification?

I am not a programmer. I clean computers of viruses, spyware. I also repair Internet connections, upgrade machines, clean parts, and install Windows, drivers, and programs. I also tweak Windows and run maintenance. Praetor and several other members have seen a little bit of my work on this forum (as well as my questions).

Bottom line, I'm the hardware and Windows man. Where's the best place to get certified online? Certifications can make a resumé look much more promising to an employer.

Any help or guidance is deeply appreciated. I am willing to pay some proper money to get what I need.

Thats one of those "train at home" programs, i see them all the time on TV, they have some options in the computer field, my computer teacher at school told me about the A+ Certification, you can check on www.amazon.com for it.
 
It is hard to say poeple in Lincoln are very pick on were you get your certification. I live just 200 mile west of Lincoln. I'm know Lincoln well efough to stay away from there. (mainly becuase of in-laws but that is a whole diffrent story. come to think of it that is the whole resion)but go for it. you can alway try some other places if you have too.
