How to change computer name?

I have Windows 7 on a HP Notebook 2000.

Can I change the name of my computer without reloading the operating system? The name right now is "my name"-HP. I want to change it to "computer."
 
Right click Computer>Properties>Computer Name, Domain, and Workgroup Settings=>Change Settings=>To rename this computer......click change. Type in your new desired name, click okay, and restart the computer.
