How to Change The CPU Max Temp. On HP Pavilion g series?

I need to change the max temperature that the CPU can reach before my computer turns off. Reason being is that I am sticking my Hard Drive into a desktop computer temporarily. But it shuts off after I use it for a while. I've looked on google and I've seen people change the max temp in their BIOS power menu but when I go to my BIOS the power menu isn't there. Please help if you can. If you have any questions just ask.

If it's not a BIOS option then there's nothing you can do.

Why not just resolve the overheating problem?

As beers said, it's nothing you can change.
And you shouldn't even if you could. There is a reason it shuts down you know.
Clean the ventilation and remove any dust inside the computer.
You might also want to reapply the thermal paste.
