How to change voltage?

I bought this Crucial Ballistix memory and I called them and they said I need to change my voltage from 1.8 volts to 2. How do I do this? I don't see anywhere where I can do this in my BIOS. I also tried updating it from Dell's version A03 to A04 but it won't let me. I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate. When I try to open the BIOS updater, a window comes up that says "An error was encountered trying to configure Windows to allow flashing, please reboot and try again. If this error re-occurs, please contact technical help."

1. How can I update my BIOS?
2. This is most important to me- How can I change my voltage?

I don't know how to flash a bios - but if you want to set the timing on your RAM - this Build your own PC article walks you through the process - if you scroll down. Your mfr timing should be labeled on your RAM packaging.

It's pretty simple - I figured it out without any guides - just moving through the BIOS menus til I figured it out.

What's the difference between changing the voltage and changing the timing?
My RAM says it's 2 volts. I don't see anything in BIOS though related to changing any settings related to the RAM. What do I do?

Did you go through all your bios menus to see what was in there? I had to navigate around to find mine - but I don't have a pre-made PC.

Perhaps DELL doesn't let you adjust the timing of your RAM. When I updated an old DDR Ram in an old PC - I was just told waht I could buy from Dell and it was plug and play.

DELL / HP / etc limit their BIOS settings a bit - b/c their PC's are under warranty - and they want to limit the damage of some curious customer screwing things up by trying to overclock a computer beyond what they would like to cover.
