How to check PCI-E?

Hello

I think that i should put this post in a "motherboard" topic - but it fits here to. So - i have a little problem. I have an ASROCK motherboard:

http://www.asrock.com/product/775Dual-VSTA.htm

And it says, that i have a PCI-E slot. And everythings o.k - but how can i check what graphic card fits there? x8, x16? And one more question - if it's for example: x8 - can i put x16 card? Will it work slower - or will it not work?

Thank You for any replys.

is there actually a x8 slot?

i thought x8 was an agp card.....

x16 is the full length slot (its about 4 inches long)
x1 is only about an inch long

Read up on it a bit. The slot is 16x, but it only runs at 4x. But don't worry too much about it. It seems a 7900GTX runs only slightly slower in this board than it does other boards supporting full 16x.
