How to- clean up Internet Explorer

Ok, maybe some of you guys can help me.......I have this annoying history list on Internet explorer. it is like a memory funcion or something. When ever I am at a page (say google for example) and begin to type something, this list pops up with everything that I have ever typed that starts with that letter!
Then even if I am in a forum or something, and I begin to type a title of a response, lists of email titles (i have web based email) that I have written that start with that letter pop up in a white box.

This gets kinda Annoying......how can I turned this funcion off? I went into control panel, and my internet settings, but couldn't figure out how?
I'm running Widows XP

Thanks, Jason

In the Internet Explorer menu:

Tools --> Internet Options --> Content --> AutoComplete

Once there, clear your auto complete history or simply disable it altogether.

Go to the top of the page and click on the button that says tools, then internet options, then content, then autocomplete and uncheck all boxes, then click clear forms and clear passwords and then the OK button!
