How to copy and archive threads

Hello all. I often want to copy an entire thread from this forum and others to archive it in digital form for later. When I "print" to Adobe I often get an error or it just creates illegible gibberish. Copying and pasting to word often does not work because the margins are too wide. How can I reliably and quickly create copies of threads and save them in digital form?
 
Maybe try a browser extension/add-on for whichever browser you are using. I've used this one for firefox. LINK

Otherwise maybe try a different PDF printer like BullZIP, or if all else fails, stitch some screen shots together!
