how to creat bootable cd

i was just curious. i was trying to make my own windows cd. that way i could add extra stuff on there like spyware programs and stuff to make my reinstalls easier.
i copied all the files to the computer and added the files i want
but i can't figure out how to burn them to a cd and make it to where the computer will boot to it
i'm using nero 6.0 by the way
any help is appreciated
 
I beleive there is normally a boot "sector" on the disk that isn't seen by the computer. There are a few methods of getting this, but I'm afraid to get into too much detail due to copyrights and all...

However, there are programs out there that allow you to take the info from a windows disk and add your own programs and what not to it, even make it install with no input from you. Unfortunetly I can't recall what the one I used to have was called... Someone told me on here a little while back!
