How to create a Forum

Hi there you all,

I'm trying to create, well haven't even started you to be truthful, a forum. I have no idea of what software I need or what I should be weary off because my computer knowledge is basic. Anyone got any advice???:( :( :( :(

You need to ask yourself a few questions...

Do you want to pay for it? (free vs. paid[ADS])
Who are you marketing toward? (Basically how much do you want to pay if you do, and how many people do you expect to come to this forum?)


There are many free sites out there which give you admin access to a forum which you create for free.... But there is limited control over layout, ads etc...

So it depends on what you want.
 
Hi, it's going to be a sounding board and support group giving advice to Governmental employees who are not happy with what is going on behind closed doors but are too frightened to speak out. Something easy to use, I've been on some and they drive you mad because it's hard to find what topic you are in. I do not mind paying as long as I do not have to be a techno genius to administer it. I believe some can start off good and then be a night mare to control because of spam.
