To disable the Windows key, do the following steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type regedt32, and then click OK.
2. On the Windows menu, click HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE on Local Machine.
3. Click the System\CurrentControlSet\Control folder, and then double-click the Keyboard Layout folder.
4. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, type in Scancode Map, click REG_BINARY as the Data Type, and then click OK.
5. Type 00000000000000000300000000005BE000005CE000000000 in the Data field, and then click OK.
6. Close the Registry Editor and restart the computer.

Straight from the Microsoft website :)

or you can download and double click this registry key... then add it.

I love the Windows Key, it makes Vista work faster, with hitting WinKey and typing in, it cuts down times.

^^ Im saving for one right now!! LOL I hate my stock hp keyboard but, alteast its a multimedia keyboard.

Got a question about the G15. Can you use the blinking lights with WMP and not Winamp?

Blinking lights??

I have the older style of the G15. If the new one has blinking lights, I dont' know about it.

When I click the Edit menu, I don't see "Add Value" in there...

well then just go to that link i showed you and download the file. double click it and click yes ... it will add itself to the registry and fix it. then restart.

it has worked for me,

also if your gonna be using registry keys, in general, its a good idea to right click it and select edit, and make sure its only doing what its supposed to, its not gonna change anything else

^^ Yup. Always read the reg keys before adding. Adding the wrong reg key can mess your pc up really bad and sometime resulting in a reformat.

I just didn't trust downloading something to modify my registry when I could do it manually.. I've had a lot of bad experiences with downloading programs that cause problems lately..

It is exactly the same thing!! All you have to do is right click the key and click "edit" to see what its adding. Not that hard
