How to do minimations?

I see a lot of Cracked.com photoplasty entries that actually cycle through about five or six frames, in an endless loop.

How do I do that? Assuming that I have the 5-6 frames that I'd like to make into a loop, how do I actually take those frames and program them to loop?

There's many online creators out here.. Tons.. Just go exploring if you gather the pictures..
