How to find a word in a PDF file?

I have PDF files that I can't do a word search so if I turn them to Word then I can do a word search. But does anyone know how I can do a word search on a PDF file? I'm using Adobe Reader.

You should be able to just CTRL+F and search for the word. Adobe will automatically align the page and search for the word.

I think you can go to File, then to Save As, and save as a Word document (doc or docx format).

Try Foxit and open the PDF.
