How to find exactly what GPU you have

is there a program that tells you exactly what GPU you have? cause I recently erased my drivers in hope to update to the latest Drivers.

Perhaps the best way is to check the card. Or if it's onboard, the motherboard's chipset or model. I can't remember if CPUz or PC Wizard show you the card without any drivers loaded, but you could try them first if you do not wish to open the machine.

Go to Start>Run>type and dxdiag in it and click ok and it should show you what gpu you have.

I did that and it says Name: Radeon Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series

what the heck is that? how am I suppose to find a driver for that. I have already tried them individually

what should I do

Your going to need to open up your computer and take out your videocard and see what it says on it. Hopefully it will say what kind it is on the card.

If it's a pre-built computer, you should be able to find the specs on it by searching for the model number.
