How to fix: Can't double click on hyper link??

For some reason my computer will no longer let me double click on a hyoer link to allow it to open in a new window. If I double click on it then it dos nothing. I ran a virus scan but nothign came up and all my settings seem to be the same. Any advice??
 
More info is needed, i personally dont remeber anythign about beign able to double click on hyperlinks to get them to open in a new window, but please provide us with your Browser you are using, what version etc... what OS you are on, what changes have you made since this problem has started, thanks

I have never heard such a thing.

Are you talking about in a browser? I don't know how to do it in IE, but in Firefox, Netscape, and Opera, you can set the browser to automatically open a new window when you click a link.
 
double clicking on FIREFOX doesnt do anything

and dont think it does it for IE either


if you want to do a new window in Firefox then just hold Ctrl+click
