This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.
 
sounds like an oem.
Yours, what do ya have and what is it.
Sounds like a violation already.
Somebody will ask.
 
Sounds like a corrupted installer. I'd just re-download the entire package. If it's on a CD or something, you might want to try temporarily disabling your anti-virus or similar software.
