Hey,

Here is a screenshot of my desktop with the stated problem:

As you can see, when I open START--PROGRAM, it only "remembers" the most popular programs used and keeps the other ones hidden, unless I click the arrow at the bottom to expand the entire selection. Well, I dont want to keep doing this. Is there a way to set it to expand all the time?

Thanks in advance!!

I go through that all of the time without problems. The more you install onto your system the longer the list gets there. Naturally everything at once won't fit on the screen along with the popup menus for each item selected. The newest addons are those seen immediately at the top by default. By right clicking on the Programs link between the word programs and the popup menu with the few items there you can choose the "open" or "explore" option on that menu to have all items shown in a separate window.

Right click the start button-click properties-click customize-raise the amount of start menu programs

Raise the amount of startup programs? You can select the add new program button. But the number of programs installed will spread to a second column or hide the older installations by default. The latest and used most frequently along with those configured to auto load with Windows are seen first.

I figured it out. Right click the start button, then properties, then startmenu customize, then you UNCHECK "use personalized menus"

:D

Did you notice the second column now having one or more items? That's the main reason why unchecking the personalized menu suddenly saw one entire list rather then clicking the arrows to see more then a few.
