How to format FAT32

Right click on the partition and select format or you can use the command prompt and type "format X:" X being the the drive you want to format. Then it will ask you if you really want to format the drive and in your case just say yes.
 
Um, yes it does you can't format to fat, but you can fat32. Just right click on the drive and choose format then where it says NTFS on the drop down menu choose fat32. Duh I thought he just wanted to format a fat32 partition.
 
XP's own formatting tool comes with a restriction: it will not format FAT32 partitions greater than 32GB. But if you format with another tool, it will happily mount and use it
