How to fully delete AIM 6.8

I am trying to help out a friend but here is the problem...

When she tried to chat with someone the text box comes up but it is blank, she can send messages but when they get transfered into the chat box they disappear. I tried uninstalling it but maybe i didnt uninstall everything but after it was re-installed it still didnt work. If anyone knows whats wrong some help would be great. Thanks

If it's installed on your pc right now, use THIS to remove it.
Then try a clean install. If you still face problems then there has to be something wrong or security issues in regards to the pc

Did you even try it ?
I was referring to malware and all. You can never tell

Not sure on this one, am no AIM fan by any means.
