How to get a quarter off a CPU

Alright i had this old cpu, celeron 533mhz i beleive. I saw the video from franks, tom, bill, joe(one of those) hardware guide when he took off the heatsink off the processors. Since i have not used that processor for 5 years i decided to try it out myself. I started windows and ran speed fan. My teps where 34(c). i took off the heatsink and the temp slowly rose to about 150(c) in about 4 seconds:cool: . Then the temp lowered down to about 80(c). Then i saw a quarter laying on the counter. i took the quarter and put it on the heatsink. The temps actually decreased to about 60(c) then they shot back up, then restarted the computer. I let the processor cool down and try to put the old heatsink back on. i go to pull off the quarter but it wouldnt come off. It is stuck on there pretty good. I have no idea how to get it off either. I dont necesarily need to get it off but if you have any ideas or comments please let me know.

Lol i always wanted to do something like that. What i should do is on my old computer rig it up to when you start it up a firecracker would go off, or do it to a friends computer(wihtout damaging it thought, just scaring the crap out of them:)) I was thinking about doing something like rigging a match up to the CPU fan.

P.S. what is always a fun trick to do to a friend is to take an old fan, take off the outer square casing of the fan, so it just lookes like a motor with fins on it. Plug it into there computer,(note: put some styrofom around the motherboard so no damage is caused), and lay it on the bottom of the case. Then close up ther computer and screw the panel back on. When they start up ther computer they here a lot of banging in ther case. It totaly confused them.:D
