How to get a virus

See many threads posted indicating people get viruses and I see many threads giving advice on how to avoid them.

What I'm hoping to accomplish is to get attention so that more people would avoid getting viruses. To kick off this thread, you can install for free AVG or MSE and I'm sure others will follow posting their own ideas.

First, don't run AVG. It's bloaty. Run MSE or Avast! Also spend the money and purchase a copy of MalwareBytes. The resident protection is very good on it and well worth it.
If something pops up that says you're infected, don't click on it.
Browse with Firefox and Adblock Plus. That'll avoid any popups.

The point to this thread is to say the opposite of what's expected to get the attention of those who would ignore good advice. This is a technique commonly used in advertising which works so I'm not duplicating.

Browse with Firefox and Adblock Plus. That'll avoid any popups.

+1 for Firefox (or Chrome). Avoid Internet Explorer (at least older versions).
