I have 2 radeon 850xt graphics cards and I want to run them in dual. My mother board is a Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe. I have them both in there now and they are both getting powered up, it seems that the computer knows they are both there. The problem is they dont seem to be working together, it seems to be using one for my main monitor and the other for additional monitors. How do I make them work as if they were one??

Ohh and I did flip the little card on the mother board to dual mode.

Cant do it. You have a SLI board that runs Nvidia GPUs in SLI. Your using ATI GPU cards, thats called Crossfire.

If your running a AMD processor you need a Crossfire ATI/AMD chipset motherboard

That freaken sucks.....

Well if I buy a new motherboard then I might as well buy a new graphics card, and processor. I am pretty sure i will also need new ram. Man I dont want to spend the money on a computer.

I am trying to play gta IV and my computer cant run it so I thought I would finally try to get these cards to run it dual.

Thanks for the help

About what would I be looking at money wise if i was to upgrade my computer so that i could play games like gta IV? I would keep my sound card, hard drive, case, cd drive ete.. I would only change the things like I said in my post above.
