How to get data from my hard drive ?

Open this pc, right click on the D drive and click on properties. Click on the tools tab, then click on error checking. Check the drive for errors, it may be failing on you.

Thanks for your advice. Meanwhile however, this day I got all the data finally back from the old hard drive with the 'Recuva'tool. Still I have a little issue opening the files which I did restore on a external memory device (Lacie) When I do click on 'open document' I get weard peaces of no sense text or the screen stays empty. Something is going not ok. But what ?

Usually that means you are trying to open those files with the wrong program and the format is wrong. I would still run the disk check to verify the drive is good and see if it fixes the issue.
