How to get more Space to C

your welcome. A lot of people overlook it when working with partitions, but it is there and about as easy to use as Gparted. The only time I use Gparted is when working with non windows partitions like EXT. Then the wondows partitioner is no good.

from what I remember this could not be done in XP, the disk would have to be converted to dynamic disk or did I overlook this?

I am not sure. I have never needed to work with a partition inside XP. I would assume nor, but anything is possible.

I find GParted to be easier because you have a graphical representation of how the drive looks. I know you can do it while inside 7, but it's not as easy to visualize for beginners.
