Okay, I built a new pc today and when loading up exp from the cd rom drive i got an error didn't know how to fix it took it to the bestbuy guy and he said that i need to put the sata drivers onto a floppy and boot those drivers from the floppy before installing xp. using http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_DownloadFile.aspx?FileType=Driver&FileID=3642
That driver can someone tell me witch files i need to extract exactly to my floppy drive for me to be able to load xp. And yes im sure this is the right drivers for the motherboard i just want to now witch ones too extract.

Too be honest i don't know i just bought an OEM disk from Canada computers . Windows EXP home edition? I don't know if it has SP's.... It says version 2002 if that means anything

If you have a computer with a burner. Slipstream SP2/3 onto your XP cd using nLite. You wont have to fool with using a floppy when you install and you can use that cd to install from now on.

If you want to use a floppy the Sata driver is on down on the page listed under

Raid/Sata

NVIDIA MCP78 SATA AHCI Driver

For floppy F6

Windows XP 32Bit
