ive been using one on my rig (see signature) and ijust bought another one and i have no idea how to get it installed...something in bios i guess but what?

that's great.....you can oc a computer but not install a hd. it's really easy to install a hd, don't know why you were having problems. if all else fails, refer to the manual :).

mmk i read that article one of u guys posted and i realized...i completely installed windows on my new HDD...so now both HDD's have windows installed...could i just use kill disk on the new drive and then just reformat as said in the article??...(i thought u had to install windows on BOTH but i guess not)

like i said...im not the one whos really good with comps here...my friend did most of it so no making fun of my retardedness :P

You don't need the OS on both drives. You can have the OS on one drive and use the other one for just storage. I have two 80Gb internal IDE drives plus two USB external drives all of which I use for storage.

If you're using the Windows CD... just create the partitions. Once you have the partitions created, you can format the drive in windows.

sounds good but since i didnt know that before, theres some data on it already....

i was just gonna move the NEW hdd data to the OLD one temporarily....then what could i use could i to erase everything from the NEW hdd so i can uninstall windows and therefore only have it partitioned & formatted....will this work...

hope that made sense :D
