How to hook up xbox360 to LCD monitor?

hi, first post here, have just one question, i am going to be purchasing a new LCD monitor quite soon (hopefully, pending answer to question)

actually its several questions now , lol , first let me mention i am looking for a 22" widescreen lcd monitor.

questions:
-1. why does the price double when going from 22"--->24" only 2 inches??

-2. can i hook up my xbox360 to a 22inch widescreen lcd monitor and will it look fine, no issues with scaling, i know it wont be HD quality but thats fine, if so what do i need to buy to hook it up / where can i find it?

-3. what LCD would you suggest after viewing my post, i was looking at this one:

You need to buy the VGA for the Xbox 360 (http://hardware.teamxbox.com/reviews/xbox-360/40/Xbox-360-VGA-HD-AV-Cable/p1/), and if you hook this from the 360 to the LCD, you CAN play in HD! Make sure the monitor is 16:9. As long as it is, you will have absolutely no scaling issues what-so-ever!

there's probably going to be scaling on anything but a tv

the only computer monitor i've seen that's in true 16:9 is 1366x768, which is an oddball resolution

1440x900, 1280x800, and 1680x1050 are all 16:10, and will introduce artifacts into the picture.
