how to i wipe hard drive when i cant start up computer?

i got a computer and it goes to awardbios setup utility. i wanna wipe the hard drive so i can start fresh. how????? cheers

you know the disc that installs your operating system. before you are given the option to install windows you are given the choice to format you hard drive and then install the os. do you still have your windows installation disc?

Boot to your Operating System CD/DVD. Delete the partition, create a new one, format and install.
