Can you tell me how to install cd writer.I've got only one ide atape connector and three dc input and when i remove my dvd rom and install the cd writer my pc cant boot says install boot media and select the proper device something like this.What should i do how can a install cd writer to my pc.Thanks

sounds like a jumper problem, if you only have one tape you have to set the HDD to master and the CD Writer to Slave, or you could use Cable select setting for both devices, i used to get problems like that if the jumpers were set on the same setting for both devices, the computer can't differentiate the 2 devices from each other, hardware conflict.
