How To Install Linux On Build PC?

how to i boot this operating system on the computer I'm in the process of building. I know it needs to be on a CD, but can you just save it as data on a CD?
 
You need to burn the iso as an image, not a data cd. Most cd-burning programs have this feature but if not deepburner has it. Then once burned, put the cd in your computer, restart and it should but into the cd. Make sure your bios are set to boot from your cd drive.
 
Get PCLinuxOS 2007 distro its good its based on Mandrake which is Based on RedHat Linux..
RedHat is getting sued..Damn

Dude Putting it on data doesnt do any good
Burn The Image to a CD not DATA CD with Nero.
