how to loop a flv video on your desktop

hello
i have a flv video file that i want to loop. but the flv player is not doing it. how can i do that?
i am not talking about publishing on web here. just on my pc

I use VLC media Player, it can do that. It has a Loop button, and you set a beginning point and a end point, and the video will loop between the two points.

On XP, WMP has a setting to repeat. I don't remember if that works on newer versions of WMP

Yes looping/replaying works on all releases of WMP if that's what you mean.

Can you clarify, do you mean just loop a video to watch in a media player or do you actually want a video as your desktop background ?
