How to make a list?

I've tried to figure out a way to print a copy of my music collection list but am having trouble. I want a copy to compare to when I go searching for music so I don't download something I already have. I know I can toggle back and forth between windows, but this is slow going. I want a hard copy to compare to. My music list is in my "my music" folder in "my documents". I'm running win. XP home edition SP1. I've tried to copy the list to MS works but no good. Does anybody have any idea how to send this list somewhere to be printed? Thanks
 
Aww I have an idea...

Try this:
Insert all of your music files in a playlist of Windows media player. Save a list on the desktop. Edit the list with word or notepad. Use Ctrl + F and do a find and replace Search for EX: "c:\music\" and replace with "" (nothing). It will remove all the file path prior to the name of the song.

Understand? If not email me a link to the file (list of the songs from Windows media player, and Ill do it for ya)
