How to open VOB file?

vlc plays them. usually you would burn those to a dvd, right?

Well they are movies that I made on a Mac and put into DVD format so when I explore the disc and save the files to my PC it comes up as a VOB. I had some DVD player program on my last computer (don't remember the name dammit) but I have nothing for my new machine.

I think I downloaded the VLC program but it does not show video. Just plays audio...

Any DVD player software should be able to play a VOB. You could try Media Player Classic.

try media player classic either run the vob or if it is a entire dvd file then you just run the video_ts.ifo
