hey guys...i was just finish built my new computer but never have i did an overclocking system before..i have read some instructions but still not sure.. i don't wanna play with it...so i'm just wondering if anyone can points out the simple step to over clock?
here is what i have:

E6600
GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3
2gb ocz ddr2 800

thanks for your help!

simple overclocking ... uping the fsb change ram ram ratio ... like my overclock was 8x(muiltyplyer) 266mhz FSB, thats stock to make 2.13ghz ram was running at 1:1 ratio... so ram was running at 266mhz too. i uped the fsb to 400mhz and ram to 400mhz still at 1:1 mhz i have ddr2 800 so its running at normal speed. so now my computers running at 3.2ghz.. make sure u dont overclock ur ram if its not quality ram... so maybe change the ram ratio if u up the FSB 2 much eg. if I had a fsb of 400 but i only had ddr2 400 ram i would have 2 run my ram at a 2:1 ratio .. i think thats right.

hope that helps .. thats pretty much the basics.. uping FSB and chingeing ram ratio ... if it's not stable then start upping voltages.. but b4 u do that maybe read more

Up the FSB 10 increments at a time and then ease back when you reach an unstable point until you find your sweet spot. :D The E6600 are really overclockable.
