How to overclock?

My system config.

Intel P4 2.66 Ghz,
1GB RAM
200 GB HDD
NVidia MX 440 128MB Graphics card

I want your help to overclock my pc to optimum use.

That isn't the point.

Plus, clockspeeds aren't the be all and end all of performance. Sure, it plays a big role in it, but it's not the most important factor nowadays.

Think of the C2D E6300 1.86 Ghz CPU for example.

I overclock for fun but as said above I don't need to. Just seeing what it will do. I mean I am getting X6800 performance out of my E6600. So I saved like $700. Thats one way to look at it. Also try the guides on TG Forumz as they are pretty in depth. :) http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/CPUs-forum-48.html
There is a P4 overclocking guide which may help. :P
