I was spending a week in Las Vegas 7 or 8 years ago and I just needed something temporary during my stay so I paid $100 for cheap laptop with Win 7. I haven’t really used it after getting home, but now I just recently starting to use it in my woodshop to make lists because I don’t have internet out there. I have a tablet, but its too small and hard for me to see plus my fingers always press more buttons than I want causing waisted time trying to figure out what happened.
Well, it won’t let me do anything until it updates and is stuck on update 4 of 7. I just don’t care about any updates because it worked OK back then and I will not ever be hooked up to the internet. All data created on this will be transferred to my current computer via flash drive. I can’t figure out how it got to update 4 anyway without internet.
So how do I stop all updates and just go back to taking notes?
