How to remove a game?

I just installed a game but it changed things on the computer, so I want to remove the game. How do I remove the game to get the computer back to normal?
There a many things about the colours and the width of the screen and scroll bars that have been changed. Everything is wider. The desktop is different. Everything is changed.

You can't uninstall it?

Go to add/remove programs and select it from the list to uninstall. (if on xp)

Go to programs and freatures on vista.

Both can be found in the control panel.

If neither works, then you could try a system restore.

So far - I did try to uninstill the game, by going to control panel.
When I selected that game then clicked to uninstall, it won't remove it.
Instead, it says that it wasn't uninstalled.
How to successfully remove the game?

The other way - when right clicking on the desktop - it didn't produce
Properties, etc. It produced a box that included: View, Sort By, Refresh,
Paste, Paste Shortcut, NVIDIA Control Panel, New, and Personalize.

When selecting Personalize, there was a Display Settings box, that offered
two boxes: box 1 and box 2, and a bar for the less or more (but not visible slider) and nowhere to click OK.

So, once again - more directions are requested.
Thanks again.
