Hello,

I'm on win XP.Actually my question is about IE, but didn't know where to post it.

So when I clear my private data on IE (tools - delete browsing history), every time a new small windows pop ups.
(When I clear cookies in ff there is no such a windows.)

So my question is: Is there a way to hide this window while deleting private data?

The problem is that i use software that delete my data every min, and I have to watch this windows 100...0000 times /day.It's so intrusive.

Help please.

thats is just the way ie works it brings up the window to clear the cache dont think there is a way to get around firefox is a different browser hence why no window pops up

why on earth are you clearing the browser history that many times in a day, if you dont mind me asking, clearing the history doesnt need to be done that often and anything that infects your computer, spyware virus etc is not likely to be hiding in those files.

Hi and thanks

I clear my private data so often because I use automated software that need that.

really isn't any way ... ???

what?

Why dont you use CCleaner instead of the IE delete. Especially since IE, Firefox, and Chrome all miss objects.

Get CCleaner here: http://www.piriform.com/

I only recommend things that I have and use, this is a great program. I use it once a day. There is also a tool included that helps to clean your registry (and back it up first). And also remove programs and startup programs, as well as the ability to delete system restore points.

When installing CCleaner, UNcheck the Yahoo toolbar option. Nobody needs or uses those tool bars that I know of.

If your unsure how to use CCleaner then just post back and ask.
