I put a windows theme on a friends comp a while back, and now i tried to remove it. The uninstall went through ok, but there were still a lot of remnents of the program(login screen, theme of windows, taskbar). I deleted everything in C: drive i could find relating to software. I looked in the registry and found some stuff related to the prog there.

Is it safe to remove them and what can i use to do so. Window wont let you mess with reg, will it?

Thanks, jason

I don't know what exactly your trying to remove, but be careful because messing with the registry can lead to problems. If you do, back it up. to edit the registry go run and type regedit

what i am trying to say is the program was something like bricopack or something, and i can see a folder in the reg. with a similar name. Can i remove it. How do you back up the registry and reimpliment the old one if the new is jacked up?
