how to remove virus in my computer or laptop without formate

I have a laptop that contains a virus disables the mouse and the device's battery
How do I delete it without doing formate

Are you sure this is a malware issue. Besides the mouse and battery issue, what is else is going on with it? What happens when you boot to safe mode? Does everything work? What is going on with the device battery? What battery are you talking about?

tried a dif mouse? a corded one would be better to try. it might just be the mouse is out of battery or it it dead.

Scanning normally doesn't remove the virus completely. It needs formatting. Even scanning can remove some of the important files also. It's better that you take a back up of your data in some external hard disc and then do the formatting.
