How to restore hdd

I have two hdd's in my rig. One that I currently use and the other one when I installed Linux Ubuntu on it when I used it before I got win7 on my other hdd when I was building the computer, so I did the process to make that hard drive compatible with Linux format. I'm never going to use that again so I want to wipe it and use it as a second hdd. How would I do that?

Just format it from windows. You should see it in This Computer.

Right click the My Computer icon | Manage | Storage | Disk Management. Make sure you select the right drive, right click, format.


You should also be able to just go into My Computer and right click the drive, select format.

Was this a dual boot config? That could be an issue. I think you would first need to run EasyBCD and remove the Linux bootloader first.
