How to Restore your computer?

I want to restore my computer so it is like how it was when I got it. I don't want it to have any programs on it except the default ones. I also want all the settings to be back to default. What would I do?:confused:
 
use a restore cd that came with your computer. if it is too old and did not come with a restore cd, might have to get a windows cd
 
check if you still have the recovery partition. during boot up there should be a button they you press to start system restore.
 
I think there is a program in BIOS called Last Known Good Configuration. LKGC resets all the BIOS options back to factory settings. Or use system restore in the Accessories/System Tools on the Start Menu. If you remember when you had your computer the way you liked it then try to see if your computer created a restore point sometime that date.
