how to reverese unallocated partition

Hello,
I just started school. I like to follow along with the book to help me learn/retain faster, as I'm starting with little computer knowledge.
Here's the question
I was following along with the book and shrank volume in disk management. I then turned the unallocated space into a new simple volume following the wizard. (73.24 GB), but I didn't want it to be permanent so I did a system restore from one that I created yesterday.
Computer restarted said restore was successful but it's still there.
Is this fixable?
I like following along with the book as it helps me learn/retain faster but I'm still worried about altering the computer until i'm more advanced!

laptop is windows 10 home if it helps

Doing a system restore won't do anything with the system partitions. Just go back into disk management and delete volume providing there is no data on it.
