how to run burn-in to test for my computer? 2nd question: can I open the PSU myself??

Slight strange smell usually comes from my computer, but I can't smell anything from the PSU and the whole computer works fine, but I am still worried. I'd like to know how to run burn-in to test if there are anything really wrong with my hardware. But how to run burn-in??

Thank you for every advice.

Hi, 2nd question: some people advised to check if there are any bulging capacitors inside the PSU. I'd like to know if it's okay to screw open the PSU unit and see what happen without touching anything, then have it closed.

Anything I have to pay special attention to when doing this kind of thing?

Thank you.

You need to figure out where this burning smell is coming from. Running a burn in test isn't the best idea if you can't.

I can't figure out where it is'.. The smell only comes out ''sometimes'' and it goes away quickly.....

I am wondering if a failing PSU would only give burnt smell sometimes but not continuously...
