How to save hosts file

Helllo,

I am trying to save the hosts file I have edited and I am getting the following error:

You don't have permission to save in this location.
Contact the administrator to obtain permission.

Would you like to save to the Documents folder instead?

I need to save it in the System32/drivers/etc folder.

Can someone please tell me how to do this and get past the error?

Are you running notepad as an admin? If not, thats why you are getting the error.

Right click on notepad and click on run as admin.
