i recently got an external hard drive 250GB inside enclosure that plugs in with usb 2.0 and powered from the wall socket (offcourse using an adapter)

im hiding important data in it

herre is the prob ??? HOW can i lock the hard drive so noone else cAN access it but me even IF I DIE>?? it cannot be accessed

i was googling some software to install into the EXTERNAL HDD not the OS so when THE hdd is plugged in to any COMputer it should ask for a password kind of thing
the programs that i found is all system installation based COULD ANYONE PLEEEEASE HELP ME OR GIvE ME AN IDEA OF whether there is a such a software that installs it self in the external hdd?????!!! so when its plugged into any device that calls itself a COMPUTER it will ask for a password

you can set windows to automatically encrypt everything on the hard drive, forget what it's called right now, so that way it would all be encrypted and only your computer would access it, then use whatever you were talking about
