How to see events in Facebook?

I'm looking at a facebook post about an event and on the right hand side I see "related events," and I see a lot of events there that are of interest to me that I would normally never see, so I'm wondering if there's any way to have those events show up in my feed as notifications?

So anything related to events that are posted by people/orgs I already follow.

I don't think there's a way currently. You'll just have to check the Events page every so often and check out new events.
