how to send folders

i need to send my friend some files and they are in a folder but when i try sending it to him it opens up all the files, i need to send the whole folder as a whole but how? please help

Zip the folder up with a compression app, eg Winzip. Then send.

or sending each file through email but they usually give u a 10mb limit or send it through msn
