how to set up a cs server?

ok i got this program fro setting up an server:dedicated server.but i cant get it working,a friend of mine said that i have to open a router,but how

I think you will get a better response if you said what kind of firewall and what server software you using. What server software?

Security use for wireless wep and mac filtering.

Server i suggest port triggering and forwarding.

don't forget the router your using.
