Hi all,
please help me.
my problem is:
at present, I am still using Windows 7 ultimate on my laptop DELL N4110.
But now I want to setup one more operating system (Windows XP SP) on my laptop DELL N4110.
I tried to do as follow:
-Firstly: I have created one more partition so that I can install windows XP SP2 on that (this step already succeed).
- Second: I have set DVD room for boot first (this step already succeed).
- My step was put Windows xp sp2 CD (have support for hard disk sata) while It running had appear blue color message error (it look like "setup Windows xp not support SATA hard disk for laptop" )

please help me.

Go into your BIOS and look for a setting that has the option of achi or ide. (A hard drive setting) set it to ide and try again.

Or, if you have your driver disk still, when the setup is preparing, you'll see the option at the bottom of the screen to install disk drivers by pressing f6. You can attempt to install your sata controller drivers through there.

thank Troncoso.
Before I follow your intruction. I want to ask you. If I change form achi to ide.
so Windows 7 Ultimate is still working fine. it mean (no need setup Windows 7 Ultimate).

It shouldn't cause a problem. If for some reason you can't boot to windows 7, simply change the setting back to achi and take the second route I suggested.

It's a lot more complex to install XP after 7 has already been installed. If you can spare it, wipe the drive and install XP first, then install 7.
