How to setup wireless internet xp to vista

I'm trying to set up a wireless network. The computer that is wireless is xp pro. And the main computer is Vista. I've got all the hardware setup. Just trying to get it to be able to acess the internet. Both are desktop.

Could someone give me a step by step procedure to getting it to be able to acess the internet?

Thanks!

Get the router setup so that it is broadcasting WiFi, open up whatever network software you are using on your XP computer, select your network, then enter the password if you have one.

i am assuming that u have wireless on both of ur computer.

u have to set up a wireless ad-hoc network on vista.
to set up a new network and there will be option of wireless ad hoc network on the type of network selection wizard.
give the network a name and set a security key and set the network.
then find the network in the other computer by searching for available wireless networks.

also there is a option in the host computer that "allow other computers to connect through this computer" somewhere. one more thing there is a restriction in the number of letters in the security key
if u are a average computer user u shud have no problem.

try and respond................!!
